Auto sales rise in September, manufacturers see signs of recovery

Passenger vehicles sales in India have seen a smart recovery in September 2020 compared to the year-ago period. Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai Motor are leading the table with double-digit growth, while Tata Motors, Honda Cars, Skoda Auto, Kia Motors have also registered growth. On the other hand, M&M and Toyota have seen decline in sales, but they too say demand is picking up. Auto majors also sensing major boost in demand during festive season.
