WHEELING, W.Va. (WTRF) — Monter trucks have made their way to WesBanco Arena for an unforgettable event.

90 truckloads of dirt have transformed the arena into a monster truck playground where massive machines will take part in wheelie contests, racing, freestyle driving, and more.

Habo Gutierrez, announcer and host, says it’s top-shelf, family-friendly fun.

“Everyone’s favorite – freestyle, where these drivers crank their trucks up to eleven and go out there and tear that course up and leave it all out there on the track. Maybe even upside down and on fire, you never know with this crew behind me.”

Habo Gutierrez, announcer and host

“Every driver has a different style of what they do and how they hit stuff and that kind of makes the personality of the truck, I think. You get to go fast, jump high, and break a lot of stuff.”

Daron Basil, driver of Blockhead

Daron Basil says it doesn’t matter whether you’re a beginner or veteran monster truck fan. You should come out and experience the show.

The Friday night show starts at 7:30 pm, and the Saturday shows are at 1 pm and 7:30 pm. Pit parties will be held 2 hours prior to the event, where fans can meet the drivers and check out the trucks.
