At this time of year when thoughts turn to the hardship and suffering felt by many, it is also a good time to help others who are ill,  through the selfless act of donating blood.

The National Blood Transfusion Service is therefore inviting the public in Gozo to donate blood during a session being held at the Gozo General Hospital Outpatients Department, on Tuesday, the 27th of March, between 1:00pm and 5:00pm – last registrations 5:00pm.

It is important to always take your Identity Card, or Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.

The Service thanks everyone who intends to donate.
