Koenigsegg Agera GT Rendered, Racecar Looks So Sharp

Yes, of course Koenigsegg gets motorsport. After all, Angelholm is only getting stronger on the production car speed record scene. It's just that the Swedish carmaker's limited size and young age mean diving into racing isn't the company's top priority for the moment.

Of course, the world wide web just won't have this, which is how we ended up with the rendering sitting before us.

The pixel play envisions an Agera GT and the circuit traits of the hypercar are obvious, with a single glance at its super-sized aero package revealing that.

This is no empty fantasy, though. Lmm23design, the label behind the work, makes it clear that the Agera GT rendering borrows elements from the CCGT, the racecar prototype Koenigsegg built earlier in the decade (more on this below).

These styling cues were put into pixels before the Agera R was released, which is why the design of the car resembles that of the "old" Agera.

However, the wing is fresh, with this inspired from the massive aero element adorning the posterior of the One:1.

Returning to the Koenigsegg CCGT, the Swedish automotive producer had serious endurance racing plans for the beast, aiming for the defunct GT1 class.

Nevertheless, as the automotive producer explained in a post released back in 2015, the said class saw regulations switching from a production number of 20 road cars spread over several years to more than 350 per year, while carbon fiber monocoques were outlawed.

Sure, the changes mentioned above were introduced to keep costs under control, but they also mean the Big K had to give up the game before it even joined the table. And yes, they were aiming for Le Mans.

Nevertheless, once you're done staring at the Agera GT proposal, you can check out the aero-sculpted shapes of the Swedish automotive producer's CCGT test car in the gallery above.

Introducing the Koenigsegg Agera GT - this was an old project I found that I thought I would bring back. Based on the CCGT, this car was a GT racer based on the Agera platform. The original design had an old wing style but I changed this to a One:1 style wing. You can see various other CCGT inspired elements too. Please keep in mind this design was done before the Agera R was even unveiled, so is mostly based on the original Agera, and the new wing was added recently. ——————————————— #koenigsegg #agera #koenigseggccx #koenigseggagera #cars #car #hypercar #supercar #carsofinstagram #love #followme #render #art #carlifestyle #carswithoutlimits #jesko ———————————————
