Driver's education increase: The school board approved to increase both the pay of the behind the wheel driver's education instructors and the cost of drivers education classes. The increase in the cost of driver education is to balance the wage increase, as the state minimum wage increases this year. The increase will start for the June driver's education class, raising the cost from $250 to $275, which is a lower cost then the surrounding areas, where the average cost is $300, according to the board.
