Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Matt and Dave to talk about his test drive of the week, dirty cars being a turn off to people, as well as other auto industry news.

This week The Car Pro was test driving the 2020 Lexus LX 570, the biggest model that Lexus offers. The car has been around for many years, but hasn't seen many changes in the past decade. The car was, at one point, a big seller for Lexus, but is now seeing fewer sales, having only sold 846 nationwide in the first quarter of 2020. Jerry posed the question of if they should completely redo the whole car, or just let it go. He expects that they will try selling it again, due to the large fact that the luxury SUV model is still successful.

The car itself is nice, yet pricey. Jerry was very impressed with the interior, saying that the car may have the nicest interior of anything out there. The car has a burnt orange type color that Jerry says pairs well with the grey of the rest of the interior. The car is quite large, feels good to sit in, and has good seats and details inside. The car has a third row seat that folds from the side rather than from the floor, which Jerry did not love. Despite this, Jerry said,

It's just not overly fast. It's not a lot of things that other SUVs are, but doggone, you just know when you get in this thing that it is well built, and it is pure luxury.

The 2020 Lexus LX 570 has a price of $103,000.
