Tributes have been paid to a tragic dad-to be who was one of three people killed in road accident.

Jack Ryle-Thompsett died in the crash leaving his pregnant girlfriend devastated.

The other two people killed – a woman in her 50s from Kent and a man in his 40s from Hull – have not yet been named.

The 26-year-old lost his life when a black Dacia Duster collided with a white BMW on April 18.

He was looking forward to becoming a dad and his grieving parter Georgie says she has lost her "soul mate."

The BMW driver was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after the smash in Lydd, Kent.

Mr Ryle-Thompsett close friend Jade Lawrence told KentOnline that he was loved by many.

She said: "I've known Jack for about ten years, he was my brother's best friend and they were inseparable, he was just part of the family.

"It's just heartbreaking, he was about to start his own family.

Money is now being raised for the young family

"To say that we are all broken is an understatement but for her this story is all the more heartbreaking.

"His colleagues doted on him, he had so many friends.

"He was just infectious, so funny, always joking and his laugh was great."

She has set up a GoFundme page to help raise funds to provide for his family following his sudden death on Sunday.

So far nearly £8,000 has been pledged and his friend gave more detail about the man on the page.

She wrote: "While most of us lost a friend, a brother and a son, his girlfriend lost her soul-mate and his soon-to-be-born baby girl lost her daddy.

"To say that we are all broken is an understatement but for her this story is all the more heartbreaking."
