Through their preliminary investigation, police learned that a red 2005 Dodge Dakota driven by 55-year old Mahmut Ilhan, was trying to make a left turn onto Route 530 from South Columbus Boulevard when he collided with a 2005 GMC Sierra which was hauling a trailer and a boat, driven by 55-year old Samuel Little, who had been driving west on Route 530 at the time.

When those two vehicles collided, they ended up crossing the westbound lanes and as a result, the Dodge and a 2021 Hyundai Venue, collided.

Police said that Little suffered injuries to his neck, back, and chest and was flown to Jersey Shore University Medical Center by Hackensack Meridian Health medevac helicopter and is currently listed in stable condition.

Paulson suffered injuries to her face and was transported by ambulance to Community Medical Center for apparent non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said that Ilhan did not report any injuries.

The investigation into the crash continues but right now Manchester Police said that disregarding a stop sign and failure to yield the right of way appear to be the primary contributing factors.
