Ford Recalls Over 1.5M Vehicles Including Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKX Midsize Cars, F-150 Pickups - Ford Motor (NYSE:F)

Ford Motor Co F prepared to recall over 1.5 million vehicles in the U.S. in two actions to fix leaky brake hoses and windshield wiper arms.
The largest of two recalls covers nearly 1.3 million 2013 - 2018 Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKX midsize cars, AP News reports.
Ford says the front brake hoses can rupture and leak brake fluid, increasing brake pedal travel and making stopping distances longer.

Dealers will replace the hoses. Ford will notify owners from April 17.
Ford says it is aware of one crash.
The second recall covers over 222,000 F-150 pickups from 2021. The windshield wiper arms can break.
Dealers will replace the arms if required. Ford will notify owners starting March 27.
Price Action: F shares traded lower by 1.02% at $11.70 premarket on the last check Friday.
