Bowling Green man arrested following drug bust at residence

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man has been arrested after a search at his residence.

On Thursday morning, the Bowling Green-Warren County Drug Task Force says it executed a search warrant at the home of Scottie Starks, 45, located off of the 600 block of Denali Street.

Authorities say they located 8 pounds of Mexican methamphetamine, 4 pounds of cocaine, a handgun, four high-capacity magazines, a money counter, $4,834 in cash, drug packaging material, about half a pound of marijuana, a bag of assorted pills and a 2014 Chevrolet Impala.

Starks is charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (cocaine), first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

Starks was transported to the Warren County Detention Center.
