Ayvens has officially introduced its mobility brand to UK customers following a global launch in October 2023. On 3 October this year, Ayvens became the trading name of LeasePlan UK, with ALD Automotive UK set to follow suit in the near future.
The move itself, still pending regulatory approval, is a key step in the integration of the two legacy companies as part of Ayvens’ long-term growth strategy, the group said in a press release.
By bringing together both businesses, Ayvens said it aims to offer a suite of sustainable mobility solutions to corporates, SMEs, and individuals in the UK. These will include end-to-end leasing for cars and commercial vehicles, comprehensive fleet management solutions, and a nationwide salary sacrifice car scheme.
The company, with a combined global fleet of 3.4 million vehicles, including one of the world’s largest electric vehicle (EV) fleets, seeks to become a leading player in sustainable mobility. Ayvens also plans to drive digital transformation across its operations in 42 countries, striving for a “simpler, smarter and more sustainable experience” for customers.
In the UK, Managing Director Tim Laver emphasised that the evolving regulatory environment is challenging businesses to rethink their fleet strategies. “Our scale and expertise can help customers navigate these challenges and turn them into opportunities for greener, smarter, and more cost-effective operations,” he said, adding that the launch of Ayvens marks “an exciting chapter” for fleets across the UK.
