Sean Hannity and RFK Jr. Hit Up Steak ‘N Shake After Oil Change: ‘People Are Raving About These French Fries’

Fox News’ Sean Hannity and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. hit up a Steak ‘n Shake together to chow down on the chain’s french fries — now fried in beef tallow, thanks to Kennedy.

On Monday’s Hannity, Hannity and Kennedy visited a Steak ‘n Shake location in Florida following the fast food chain’s announcement that they are now frying their food in beef tallow.

The burger chain previously used seed oils.

“Our fries will now be cooked in an authentic way, 100% beef tallow, in order to achieve the highest quality and best taste,” the company said in their announcement.

“People are raving about these French fries,” Kennedy said on Monday after he and Hannity received their baskets of burgers and fries.

“They’re amazing,” Hannity said.  “They really are.”

Kennedy said other companies will be changing to a more natural frying process too, but he argued he will not be pushing for mandates that dictate how companies cook their food.

Kennedy said:

“I have a Libertarian outlook. People should be able to make their own choices. If you want to eat a donut or seed oils, you should be able to. You should be able to exercise informed choice. You should know what that product is, what’s in your food, and what the health impacts are. And that’s all we’re going to do. We’re going to incentivize people to — we’re going to incentivize companies to be transparent. And we’re going to inform Americans about what’s making them sick. Nobody wants to be sick.”

Kennedy thanked Steak ‘n Stake for turning him into a “verb” — they announced they had “RFKed” their fries — and explained that lately, Europe has begun beating the United States in the french fries game.

Kennedy said:

“When I was a kid, I would travel in Europe. You know, Europe is great, always had great food. The french fries were always a disappointment because we had the best french fries here…they just didn’t taste right. Today the best french fries in the world are in Europe. I order them every time I go to Belgium or France or any place else. And the French fries here just don’t taste right. And you tasted these. It’s a completely different experience and the customers are raving about it. Other companies, Steak ‘n Shake has been great, we’re very grateful for them. for RFKing the french fries. They turned me into a verb.”
