CLEVELAND, Ohio – Authorities identified four teenagers killed in a car crash Wednesday on the city’s West Side.

The office of the Cuyahoga County medical examiner said Eddy Deandre Bonner, 18; Caurie Williams, 19; Tamera Davis, 14; and Kalise McGee, 14; died in the accident. Bonner, Williams and Davis were from Cleveland.

The medical examiner’s office did not list where McGee lived.

The teens were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened about 12:30 a.m. on West 106th Street, near Western Avenue. The teens were in a stolen 2014 Hyundai Sonata when the driver lost control and ran into two trees and another vehicle, police said.

Three of passengers were thrown from the vehicle, while the driver remained inside of it, police said.

Authorities said it was unknown if alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash, but surveillance video showed the vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed before the accident.

Cleveland police confirmed the vehicle was not chased, so it is unclear why the driver drove so fast on a street filled with houses and businesses.

The vehicle was stolen on Feb. 27 from a home on Wichita Avenue on the city’s West Side.

The investigation continues.
