Gino D’Acampo announces surprising TV return despite misconduct claims
Gino D’Acampo has received support from fellow stars and colleagues alike as celebrity chef turns to acting
ITV may have dropped Gino D’Acampo and ended all their upcoming projects with him, but the celebrity chef is making his TV return without the broadcaster.
Fans of the foodie have been wondering what he will do following accusations of inappropriate behaviour levied against the presenter.
The 48-year-old has vehemently denied all the allegations.
It turns out that he will be trying his hand at acting, with his new colleagues gushing over the chance to work with him.

On Instagram this week, Gino has shared several pictures of himself working on a TV set, with the caption: "What a fantastic experience in Ireland working on a new series… I can’t wait for you guys to see it… p.s Happy St Patrick’s Day."
The Sun reported that Celebrity Juice host Keith Lemon and This Morning star Josie Gibson liked the post, although their likes are not visible at the time of writing.
The images show Gino reaching into a car engine with a cigarette in his mouth alongside his film crew.
One of Gino’s new colleagues, Michael Benson, replied to the snaps saying: "It was an absolute pleasure working with you on this production Gino."
Another crew member added: "That it was, amazing that a drama could be shot with so many smiles!"
Responding to the investigation into claims of inappropriate behaviour, Gino's spokespeople told ITV News that he "firmly denied" the claims.
The statement read: "I am a father, husband and have worked with well over 1,500 people on around 80 productions in my career, which I have been so proud of.
"I take such matters extremely seriously," he said, adding that the suggestion that he acted in an improper way was "deeply upsetting".
ITV release its own statement, which stated: "All of the concerns and complaints raised by those who have spoken to ITN [the producer of ITV News] describe behaviour which is inappropriate and unacceptable.
"Most of them were not reported to ITV at the time. Where issues have been raised with ITV action has been taken."
