Ultraviolette launched its first scooter— named Tesseract— earlier this month at an introductory price of Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom). The Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer has revealed that it has received over 50,000 bookings for the Tesseract. This has been achieved only within two weeks since the electric scooter sale went live.
Narayan Subramaniam, CEO and Co-founder of Ultraviolette Automotive, commented on this unprecedented demand: “The response to the Tesseract has been absolutely phenomenal. Crossing 50,000 pre-bookings in just two weeks reflects the appetite for a truly advanced mobility solution. The Tesseract is not just another electric scooter—it is a revolution in the way people perceive commuting.”
Tesseract is available in a single variant and four distinct colour options: Desert Sand, Stealth Black, Sonic Pink, and Solar White. Bookings for the Tesseract are open on the company website for Rs 999.

Ultraviolette Tesseract: Specs & Features
The Ultraviolette Tesseract electric scooter is packed with advanced technology and built on the company’s next-generation platform. It rides on 14-inch wheels and features a telescopic front suspension. Its futuristic design is complemented by a massive 7-inch touchscreen TFT instrument console, an integrated dashcam, wireless phone charging, and more.
For safety, the scooter is equipped with dual radars and front and rear cameras, enabling features like blind spot detection, overtake alerts, and collision warnings. It also incorporates technology from the F77, including dual-channel ABS, traction control, and dynamic stability control.
The Tesseract is available with three battery pack options—3.5kWh, 5kWh, and 6kWh—offering an IDC range of 261 km. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in just 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 125 kmph. Charging the battery from 0 to 80% takes less than an hour. Peak power output is rated at 20bhp (14.7 kW) peak power output
Ultraviolette will offer the Tesseract in three color options: Desert Sand, Stealth Black, and Sonic Pink. Additionally, a range of accessories will be available, with deliveries set to begin in the first half of 2026.
