Tata Motors Stocks Today, Tata Motors Share Price News & Updates: Tata Motors stock in focus today. The auto major on Wednesday said its board has approved a proposal to raise up to ₹2,000 crore by issuing securities on a private placement basis.

It had approved the issuance of non-convertible debentures (NCDs). The Mumbai-based company did not elaborate on the reasons for the fundraising. Earlier, it had disclosed that the board would consider fund-raising at its meeting on March 19. 

Tata Motors had recently incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary - Tata Motors Digital.AI Labs Limited.

The auto major had recently announced increasing its passenger and electric vehicle prices from April, but did not specify the extent of the increase.

    Tata Motors share price live: to increase passenger and EV prices from April

    Indian automaker Tata Motors Limited will be increasing its passenger and electric vehicle prices from April, but did not specify the extent of the increase. This is the second time the company will be implementing price hikes for cars in 2025.

    It had earlier announced a price hike of up to 3 per cent in December 2024, which was implemented from January.

    “The price adjustment is being undertaken to partially offset the impact of rising input costs. The extent of the hike will vary depending on the model and variant,” Tata Motors stated.

    The price hike announcement comes a day after Maruti Suzuki Limited announced fresh price hikes of up to 4 per cent on its vehicle models from April.

    Experts have cautioned automakers not to increase vehicle prices as it would impact consumer buying sentiments.
