Greenville County coroner identifies victim of deadly head-on crash

The crash is still under investigation.

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Greenville County Coroner’s Office said it is investigating a deadly crash.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol said troopers were called to the 3900 block of White Horse Road around 9:45 a.m on Sunday.

The crash involved a Toyota Camry and a Kia.

The coroner’s office said they arrived on scene at 10:30 a.m.

Officials said the Toyota went left of center and struck the Kia head-on.

Troopers said the driver and passenger of the Kia were taken to the hospital.

The coroner said the Toyata’s driver was dead at the scene and identified him as Michael Elazeruth Hagood, 23, of Pickens.

An autopsy for Hagood is scheduled for Monday.

The Greenville County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are continuing their investigation.
