Prabhas’ 'The Raja Saab' faces leaks and possible delay

Prabhas is currently working on his upcoming horror rom-com, 'The Raja Saab', directed by Maruthi. However, the production has been facing leaks, with videos and images from the set frequently surfacing online, and a potential release delay.
Recently, a video of Prabhas dancing energetically on set was leaked, showing him wearing the same checkered yellow shirt featured in one of the film's posters. Earlier, a key action scene featuring Malavika Mohanan fighting goons while suspended from a harness also leaked.

In addition, a picture of Nidhhi Agerwal from 'The Raja Saab' sets surfaced, although she clarified that it was from an ad shoot, not the film.
She wrote on X (formerly Twitter) to clarify, her tweet reads, "Hi fam! This is not a leaked photo from #TheRajaSaab movie... it’s from an ad shoot I have done... We will come with updates very soon; trust me, it’s worth waiting for."

The film is a pan-Indian horror romance starring Prabhas, Malavika Mohanan, and Niddhi Agerwal in key roles. Thaman is composing the beats of the film.
As per a Pinkvilla report, 'The Raja Saab's release may be delayed. While the film was initially slated for April 10, 2025, reports suggest that pending shoots, including key scenes and songs, have been halted due to Prabhas' recent injury. The new release date will be announced after post-production works are completed. The makers are reportedly considering a Diwali 2025 release to avoid clashes.

Prabhas is involved in several other projects, including, 'Fauji' a patriotic historical action drama film directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. He is also set to feature in 'Kannappa' which is a mythological drama where Prabhas will make a cameo appearance as Rudra, a devotee of Lord Shiva. He also has 'Spirit' directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, 'Kalki 2898 AD Part 2' and 'Salaar Part 2'.
