Beaufort Co. Sheriff’s Office locates missing 68-year-old

BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WTOC) - UPDATE: The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office has located Hunter.

Monday, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office asked the community to help locate missing and endangered 68-year-old Geoffrey Michael Hunter.

Law enforcement said Hunter was last seen at around 9 a.m. Monday morning at his home in Hilton Head Plantation. They said Hunter left in a black 2005 Dodge Magnum, with SC tag THB877.

The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office said Hunter is terminally ill- causing concern for his safety and well-being. He is on oxygen and will have it will him.

He was last seen wearing a red long sleeve shirt and dark colored sweatpants.
