WHITE EARTH — Wild Rice Electric Cooperative is supporting Circle of Life Academy’s sixth-grade class with a donation for a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) project.
Funded through the Cooperative’s unclaimed capital credits, this donation will help students purchase components to build and program robots, gaining hands-on experience in coding and problem-solving.
“The kids are very excited to work on the project. We thank Wild Rice Electric for the opportunity,” said Seth Houglum, K-12 principal at Circle of Life Academy. He highlighted teamwork, problem-solving, and real-world robotics applications as key learning goals.
Wild Rice Electric Cooperative is committed to supporting education and investing in programs that inspire future careers using these STEAM skills.
