2025 Lexus RX 350h Adds Three F SPORT Grades

Hybrid Provides Over 600-Mile Range and 37 MPG Fuel Economy

The Lexus RX 350h premium SUV adds the F SPORT Handling, Performance and Design grades to its 2025 lineup, increasing choices to include seven trims.

F SPORT joins Standard, Premium, Premium+, and Luxury, providing consumers a myriad of options to best match their lifestyle. F SPORT Design, builds on the Premium grade and shares F SPORT Handling exterior characteristics, including the F SPORT front fascia, grille, rear valence and 21-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels with a gloss black metallic finish.

My tester was powered by a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder hybrid engine paired with two electric motors and a powerful 216-cell battery pack, along with a Continuously Variable Transmission. The combo generates 246 horsepower and 233 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive comes standard.

The hybrid power plant has a 3,500 pound towing capacity. But more importantly, comes with over a 600-mile range on a tank of gas, delivering 37 miles per gallon fuel economy down the highway. RX 350h seats up to five adults with better than average storage capacity.

Exterior highlights include a large, seamless grille that provides a strong, clean presence, and marks the origination of the spindle body that expresses athleticism and finesse. Other features include a power moonroof, roof rails, and a single lens taillamp that wraps around the body, further emphasizing the RX’s wide and low silhouette. It is completed with an “Iridium”, silverish-white coat of enamel.

Inside the RX, the driver-focused cockpit design intuitively orients all controls toward the driver’s reach and forward sightline, creating an expansive, minimalist layout. For 2025, a 12.3-inch multi-information display becomes standard across the lineup.

Small items can be stowed in several convenient locations. A front cubby located ahead of the gearshift features a front-rear sliding lid and houses an available Qi-compatible wireless mobile device charger and USB connection. The central console box can be opened from either the driver or passenger side and is perfect for stowing sunglasses and valuable out of sight.

Creature comforts include NuLuxe-trimmed heated and ventilated seats, wood and leather-trimmed heated steering wheel, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and Smartphone charging, multi-zone climate control, ambient lighting, navigation, head-up display, and 21-speaker Mark Levinson premium surround sound tuned for the RX’s cabin.

Rear passengers are not excluded from the party. Rear passengers in the available 40/20/40 power split-folding rear seat can charge their mobile devices on two USB Type-C outlets (six USB ports are found throughout the vehicle) or an available single AC power socket. The rear seats are available with power folding capabilities and available cooling and heating functions.

The 350h offers 29.6 cubic feet of car space behind the second-row seats which expands to 46.2 cubic feet when folded flat. I was able to transport two golf bags (with room to spare) without folding the seats forward.

Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 is a suite of standard advanced safety equipment and convenience features designed to bring peace of mind to every drive.

Highlights include a pre-collision braking system with pedestrian detection, dynamic radar cruise control, lane departure alert, lane tracing assist, road sign assist, automatic high beams, and proactive driving assist that uses radar and camera technology to keep you a safe distance from the vehicle in front.

The Lexus RX 350h does not come cheap, but it leaves you wanting for nothing. All things considered, it provides value and peace of mind.
