Hurun Global Rich List 2025: Reliance Industries' Mukesh Ambani has slipped from the global top 10 wealthiest individuals list as his fortune decreased by Rs 1 lakh crore compared to the previous year, attributed to increased debt levels. Nevertheless, he maintained his position as Asia's wealthiest individual.
Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, secured the position of world's wealthiest person with his net worth increasing by 82%, or $189 billion, to reach $420 billion.
HCL's Roshni Nadar and family achieved a significant milestone, becoming the fifth wealthiest woman globally with a net worth of Rs 3.5 lakh crore. She became the first Indian woman to reach the global top 10 women's list after receiving a 47% stake transfer in HCL from her father, Shiv Nadar.
According to an ET report, the Reliance Industries chairman has experienced a decline in wealth due to challenges in the company's energy and retail sectors. The conglomerate faces difficulties from decreased sales growth and debt concerns whilst transitioning towards digital platforms, renewable energy, and retail expansion.

Beginning as a commodities trader, Adani developed his business empire. Prior to Hindenburg's report, the school drop-out had risen to become Asia's wealthiest person, with diverse interests across ports, power generation, airports, mining, renewables, media and cement.
Meanwhile, Dilip Shanghvi of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries saw his wealth increase by 21% to Rs 2.5 lakh crore, advancing to fifth position.
