On Tuesday, March 25, 2025, Minister of National Defense Khaled Sehili conducted an inspection visit to the Non-Commissioned Officers School and the Army Technical School in Bizerte. During his visit, he evaluated the working and living conditions of the military personnel stationed there and joined them for an iftar meal alongside senior military officials from the Bizerte garrison, according to a press release from the Ministry of Defense.
The Minister voiced gratitude to the leadership of both institutions for their pivotal role in training officers, non-commissioned officers, and enlisted soldiers. He highlighted their contribution to shaping military doctrine, fostering patriotism, and enhancing the physical, mental, and academic qualifications of military personnel. This, he remarked, equips them with the necessary fighting skills and military knowledge for successful professional integration and mission execution.
On this occasion, Sehili urged students and military personnel at the institutions to work diligently and enhance their military and physical skills, ensuring they meet their responsibilities and contribute to the operational readiness of the armed forces.
He reaffirmed the military’s commitment to addressing the concerns and aspirations of its personnel and emphasized ongoing efforts to improve their living conditions and social environment.
