Fortnite 'someone is planning a joyride' quest – how to steal Kane’s car and try the new mini-game
Fancy taking Fletcher Kane's car for a spin? Luckily for you, you can do exactly that in the new Fortnite quest that has just appeared.
More Fortnite quests have dropped in-game, and one of them asks you to take a joyride in Fletcher Kane's slick sports car.
Fortnite has been dishing out compelling quests to players at an enormous, incredibly consistent rate. Gameplay has been partially overshadowed by the arrival of Outlaw Keycards, demanding a number of completed quests before offering players the chance to make the most of the game’s Black Markets; even giving them bonus chests and free Dill Bits along the way to spend on major Mythic weapons, like the Pump and Dump SMG / shotgun combo.
The same goes for the chance to help Big Dill start the party, and as players become well acquainted with the Chapter 6 Season 2 Battle Pass characters, we’re lucky enough to keep getting more quests to spend more time with them. Luckily now, too, a new Fortnite ‘someone is planning a joyride’ quest has appeared in-game to allow you to take revenge on the island’s greatest scourge, and you can get a pretty slick ride out of it too. Here’s what you need to know about the Fortnite 'someone is planning a joyride' quest.
Fortnite someone is planning a joyride quest
The Fortnite 'someone is planning a joyride' quest is an incredibly simple one, and it’s one that will not only put you behind the wheel of a very slick vehicle, but will give you an entire level of XP, giving you a new reward in your unlocked Passes.
To start the quest, go to see Cassidy Quinn, who is stationed at a small outhouse in front of Lonewolf Lair. It’s worth remembering that only one player in any given lobby can complete this quest in a game, and a lot of players are vying for the car right now, so either drop hard and try to kill anyone who aims to stop you, or hold off until lobbies are a little less hot.
Once you’ve spoken to Quinn, walk with her to the garage of Lonewolf Lair, and she’ll open up the gate. Jump into the car, and ten golden rings will appear one after the other, and you’ll need to drive through them all.
You have two minutes to do so, and it’s not far to drive, so don’t panic and cruise along. Once you’re done, you can keep the car to drive in style, and you’ll have a heap of XP to your name too with the Fortnite 'someone is planning a joyride' quest completed.
The Fortnite 'someone is planning a joyride' quest is practically a fast-track to your next Battle Pass reward, so don’t waste any time and steal that car. If not for the XP, then at least because it’s fun to steal things from crime bosses. Don’t do that in real life though, please.
