Black Stars head coach Otto Addo believes the team can secure a ticket to the 2026 FIFA World Cup if they continue to play like they did against Chad and Madagascar.
The 49-year-old coached his side to 5-0 and 0-3 wins during the qualifiers in the March international window as they ended a run of six games without a win across all competitions.
The wins put the team in pole position in Group I, moving three points clear of Comoros, who sit in second place.
"We have certain areas where we can always improve. We had a solid defence, and we also scored a lot of goals [vs. Chad and Madagascar]," he told JoySports.
"But in between, the connection has to be much stronger, because especially the second game against Mali would be very tough. If we continue like that, we will be successful."
With four games left to play, the gaffer believes that the team maintaining their current form would mean they make back-to-back appearances at the World Cup.
