7:55 a.m. – A reporting party from a Sutton Way business reported two transients smoking cigarettes in the ATM area and one transient sleeping.
9:17 a.m. – A reporting party from an East Main Street business reported a subject climbed the fence into the yard, attempted to cut a lock, and stole a few small items at 2:45 a.m. The reporting party advised that a possible suspect was sleeping on the side of the building.
9:25 a.m. – A reporting party from Maryland Road reported an abandoned truck blocking access to manholes for a couple months and a crew was on scene and needed to work on equipment. The vehicle was towed.
11:02 a.m. – A reporting party from Mill Street reported an assault with a cane with a knife on the end that occurred a week ago.
12:31 p.m. – A reporting party from Buena Vista Street reported illegal tree cutting. The reporting party was advised to stay separated from the company.
1:29 p.m. – A reporting party from Tinloy Street requested contact to report bus drivers were refusing to allow him on the bus due to the bags he was carrying. Law enforcement contacted a Nevada County Transit supervisor, who advised that the reporting party would be allowed on the 3 p.m. bus. The reporting party was advised to consolidate items.
4:32 p.m. – A 911 caller from a Sutton Way business reported a male subject had just run out of the store with multiple stolen items to a waiting vehicle.

8:15 a.m. – A reporting party from a Railroad Avenue business reported a transient had set up camp around the back of the building. The reporting party stated there was a sleeping bag and a bicycle and it appeared someone was in the sleeping bag.
1:06 p.m. – A 911 caller from Nevada Street reported he lost his key on the bus in Grass Valley.

8:52 a.m. – A reporting party from Highway 49 and Flume Street requested pickup of a feral cat she trapped.
10:09 a.m. – A reporting party from Roving Way reported ongoing issues with loose dogs. The reporting party advised the dogs, a white Great Pyrenees and blue tick hound, did not have collars.
10:24 a.m. – A reporting party from Valley Drive reported an injured cat on her property.
11:48 a.m. – A reporting party from Highway 174 and Peardale Road reported vandalism to the fire station. The reporting party believed the suspect is a neighbor and that the light fixture on the front of the fire station was shot out.
3:12 p.m. – Staff from a Magnolia Road school advised a 21-year-old male was supplying minors with nicotine vapes.
4:00 p.m. – A reporting party from Oak Drive requested personal contact regarding a neighbor’s dog, described as a large white dog with a black nose, roaming around the neighborhood and the reporting party’s property. The reporting party advised the dog was aggressive.
6:44 p.m. – A reporting party from Kingston Lane reported 4 or 5 teenagers walking on the roof of the elementary school, jumping from building to building.
7:33 p.m. – A 911 caller from Nevada City Highway reported her friend was in a mushroom-induced psychosis and causing a verbal disturbance. The reporting party advised the friend was refusing to leave the residence and starting arguments.
