LSU baseball earned another tight victory in Southeastern Conference play on Friday, taking down Mississippi State 2-1 at Alex Box Stadium.
After the start of the game was delayed by two hours and 36 minutes, the Tigers got five innings from junior right-hander Anthony Eyanson and four innings from freshman right-hander Casan Evans.
Eyanson gave up one unearned run and struck out 12 batters while Evans struck out six.

Saturday's game was scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., but was pushed back to 9:30 p.m. due to the inclement weather in Baton Rouge.
