Bristol to be hotter than Barcelona as Met Office predicts sunny 20C highs

Bristol is set to be hotter than Barcelona next week, the Met Office have predicted.
The weather in Bristol on Friday, April 4 is also set to soar above Athens and Dubrovnik with sunny skies and light breezes.
The seasonably warm day is set to begin with temperatures of 6C at 7am, before climbing to 11 degrees at 10am.
Temperatures will warm to 17 degrees at around lunchtime and finally reach a peak of around 19C to 20C by the late afternoon.
The city won't start cooling down again until around 7pm when temperatures will dip to 17C.
Throughout the day there will be mild winds, sunny skies, and a less than 5% chance of rain. No weather warnings are in place.
Meanwhile, Barcelona is set to be beaten out by Bristol with highs of just 17C in the Spanish city.
Dubrovnik in Croatia will only peak at 15C, whereas Athens in Greece is predicted to peak at 16C.
Before Friday, you can expect daytime highs in Bristol of up to 17C on Sunday and Monday, 18C on Tuesday and Wednesday, and 19C on Thursday. All days are set to be clear and sunny.
