Finnish president pays unannounced visit to Trump: Ukraine among topics discussed

Finnish President Alexander Stubb paid an informal visit to the United States on Saturday 29 March to meet with US President Donald Trump in Florida.

Details: The two leaders discussed strengthening the bilateral partnership and the situation in Ukraine, and played golf.
"I met with Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago, Florida on Saturday 29 March. During the visit, we discussed relations between Finland and the US and current foreign policy issues, including Ukraine," Stubb wrote on X (Twitter), posting a photo of him and Trump with golf clubs.
"President Stubb and I look forward to strengthening the partnership between the United States and Finland, and that includes the purchase and development of a large number of badly needed Icebreakers for the US, delivering Peace and International Security for our Countries, and the World," Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social.
