Burglary suspect bleeds all over Ky. home, causes $100K in damage, deputies say
JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A man is accused of breaking into a home and causing upwards of $100,000 in damages, according to Jessamine County sheriff’s deputies.
According to an arrest citation, 30-year-old Leondus Patrick was arrested at a home on Serenity Circle in Nicholasville shortly after midnight on Monday morning.

Deputies say they were dispatched to the home at around 11 p.m. Sunday night in reference to a robbery in progress.
Once they arrived, they say a car was parked in front of the open garage door of the house.
Deputies say they made contact with Patrick, who was covered in blood, standing in the doorway from the garage to the main residence.
According to his arrest citation, once he was detained, a knife was taken from his person, and he told deputies he was bleeding because he had been bitten.
Deputies say blood was splattered throughout the home and several items were broken. The homeowners told deputies that the value of the damaged items totaled approximately $70,000 to $100,000.
Patrick told deputies he had received the gate and garage codes from the homeowners’ daughter earlier that day.
He was charged with burglary and criminal mischief
