Police are warning people not to approach a man from Leicester who is wanted on recall to prison. Leicestershire Police is asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Adam Best, previously known as Adem Avul, to contact the force.
The 25-year-old is wanted on recall to prison having failed to abide by the terms of his licence after serving a prison sentence for causing grievous bodily harm, a police spokesperson said. People are being warned not to approach Best directly.
A spokesperson for the force said that "a number of extensive inquiries" had been carried out to locate Best. They added that officers were now turning to the public for help. Best is 6ft 2ins, white and slim.

Anyone who knows where he is is asked to report it via the force's website or by calling police on 101 or by reporting via the police's website, quoting incident 25000085197. Alternatively you can report information to Crimestoppers, which is anonymous, on 0800 555 111.
