A motorbike rider who died after a serious on an Essex country road has been named as Samuel Miller. Emergency services were called to a two-vehicle crash on March 14 in Gestingthorpe on the county's northern border.
The road was closed while emergency services attended. Sadly Mr Miller, 33, died at the scene. Essex Coroner's Court heard bystanders had given CPR in desperate attempts to preserve his life.
Coroner Michelle Brown said Mr Miller was riding a motorbike when he collided with another vehicle. Essex Police previously said no arrests were made following the two-vehicle crash.

The court heard: "Samuel Miller from Halstead died on March 14, 2025. This 33-year-old gentleman was riding his red Yamaha motorbike towards Halstead when he collided with a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction.
"Despite bystanders doing CPR, his death was confirmed at 12.34pm. A post-mortem was done and a provisional cause of death was haemorrhage from laceration of liver and motor traffic collision."
