All Saints perform Never Ever

All Saints star Melanie Blatt looked a million miles away from her chart topping heyday with the band as she spent her 50th birthday flipping burgers in a London pub kitchen. Having swapped the charts for chefs whites she took to social media to alert fans to her new venture. The mum of one worked her first shift in the kitchens at north London boozer, The Londesborough, earlier this week.

The Never Ever singer was cooking as part of the eatery's celebrity chef spot on Tuesdays and announced she will be filling the slot in the coming weeks. Her menu included burger dishes, with both a slow cooked beef patty and jerk chicken option, served up with chunky chips and gravy. For vegetarians a macaroni cheese burger was on offer. Taking to Instagram she posted a series of pictures from the day. Alongside them she wrote: "This was the day I turned 50!

"I spent it cooking for the people I love I thought it was the perfect moment to launch my new business @fullfillingsfood.

"I’ll be at @thelondesborough every Tuesday. Follow the FullFillings page for updates."

Another post showed the fresh faced singer her with her blonde hair in a ponytail as she wrote: "Chucking my dignity and vanity in the bin to bring you a day in the life prepping for a Tuesday @fullfillingsfood takeover @thelondesborough."

Mel has previously showcased her culinary skills on Celebrity MasterChef's 17th season in 2022.

She reached the final after impressing the judges with her beef and pancetta pie in the first round.

However she lost out to model and TV presenter Lisa Snowdon sparking a fix row. She returned to the show to assist with the judges during a later series.

Mel shot to fame in 1997 as a member of the girl group All Saints along with bandmates Nicole and Natalie Appleton and Shaznay Lewis.

The group scored five number one singles, two multi-platinum albums and have sold over 10 million records worldwide. They also won two BRIT awards before they parted ways in 2001.
