Married woman's sordid affair is exposed after being found having sex in outrageous location

A married Florida woman has been arrested after she was caught having a romantic romp with another man inside a locked cemetery.

Stephanie Wegman, 46, is facing a myriad of drug charges following her tryst on March 27 inside the Wild Cow Cemetery - but is so far not facing any charges for her sexual escapade with Joseph Luke Brown, 38, atop an unmarked grave, according to court documents obtained by The Smoking Gun.

An incident report written by State Trooper W.R. Kelly said he traveled to the preserved cemetery - which was last used in the 1920s - the afternoon of March 27 so that his K9 could take a break.

Once he arrived, he noticed a white Nissan Altima - registered to Wegman and her husband Anthony Johnson - 'with the windows down and no one in the immediate area.'

But soon he 'observed a white male and female at the rear of the cemetery engaged in sexual activity.' Two other troopers who were with Kelly at the time also spotted the duo, he wrote.

At that point, they approached the couple to ask for identification, as the cemetery was locked at the time.

Both Wegman and Brown - who is not her husband - complied and returned to the car 'to obtain clothing, put a blanket back and the female obtained her ID.'

When Kelly and the other officers were looking over her ID, another trooper arrived at the scene with his own K9, who conducted a 'free air sniff' and alerted the trooper of a 'trained odor.'

During an ensuing search of the vehicle, Kelly said the officers found 'a loose crystal on the passenger's seat,' which later tested positive for methamphetamine.

Officers also found 'two prescription bottles with the labels missing' inside Wegman's purse, that contained Xanax and Oxycodone.

Troopers then booked Wegman into custody and charged her a few days later with two counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and a single count of trafficking oxycodone, PEOPLE reports.

The Sumter County Sheriff's Office also charged Wegman with one count each of drug possession, marijuana possession and methamphetamine possession as well as two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, according to Law & Crime.

Meanwhile, Brown was brought to a local hospital 'for a preexisting injury to his leg,' with Kelly noting that a warrant would be sought for his arrest.

Both Wegman and Brown have extensive criminal histories, with Brown serving multiple prison stints, according to The Shooting Gun.

He was last released from state custody in May 2024, the outlet reports.

Wegman, meanwhile, had been arrested just three weeks prior and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

She has also previously been charged with burglary, grand larceny, battery, domestic violence, larceny, reckless driving and DUI.

In 2019, a Florida judge even reportedly described her as a 'habitual felony offender.'

She is now being held without bond and is set to be arraigned on May 12.
