Delhivery on Saturday said it will acquire a controlling stake in Ecom Express Ltd for a cash consideration of ₹1,400 crore from its shareholders. The logistics major in an exchange filing said the completion of the transaction is subject to approval from the Competition Commission of India, and customary closing conditions.

Tata Steel has received an order for reassessing taxable income for financial year 2018-19 and increasing the taxable amount by over ₹25,000 crore, and the company has moved the Bombay High Court against the reassessment. Tata Steel said in a stock exchange filing that the assessment order came on March 31 this year, following a show cause notice issued on March 13 by the Assessing Officer, Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax, Circle 2(3)(1), Mumbai. The March 13 notice had sought further documents related to the waiver of ₹25,185.51 crore in FY19 for the purpose of reassessment of taxable income for AY 2019-20.

AstraZeneca Pharma India has announced that it has received approval from the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO), Directorate General of Health Services, to import and distribute Osimertinib Tablets (TAGRISSO). The newly approved indication allows Osimertinib to be used in combination with pemetrexed and platinum-based chemotherapy as a first-line treatment for patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) harbouring EGFR exon 19 deletions or exon 21 (L858R) substitution mutations.

Kilokari BESS Pvt Ltd (KBPL) is its maiden commercial BESS project, the company said in a statement on Friday. “IndiGrid announced the commissioning of India’s first regulated utility-scale standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project with a capacity of 20 MW/40 MWh in Delhi,” the statement said.
