KENNETT, Mo. (WSIL) -- Three people are dead and two people were flown to a hospital after a three-vehicle crash on Tuesday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) said the crash happened at 5:36 p.m. on April 8, along Missouri Highway 25, roughly two miles north of Kennett.
State police said a 2012 Nissan Murano was passing a 2005 Toyota Sienna going south when the Murano crashed into a 2006 Dodge Caravan head on.
MSHP reported a 27-year-old man and a 58-year-old man in the Murano were pronounced dead at the scene. A 50-year-old was also in the Murano, but was flown to Region One in Memphis with serious injuries. All three men were from Caruthersville.
Police said two females were in the Dodge Caravan. One a 21-year-old and the other a 77-year-old, both from Paragould, Arkansas. The 77-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene while the 21-year-old was flown to Region One in Memphis with serious injuries.
State police claim this as the 16th, 17th and 18th death related to a traffic crash in the southeast Missouri region for 2025.
