Audi’s Q4 55 e-tron quattro electric crossover SUV receives numerous upgrades for the 2025 model year, including a more powerful motor, enhanced range, revised battery pack, and a new standard technology package.

Powered by dual motors, an 82kWh battery pack, and all-wheel drive setup, the Q4 55 e-tron delivers a combined 355 horsepower and402 lb-ft of torque. It accelerates from 0-60 miles per hour in five seconds and comes with an increased range of 258 miles on a single charge.

Q4 charged from less than 10% to just shy of 100% in less than eight hours on the Level 2 charger in my garage. Plug it in before bed and it’s ready in the morning.

Audi has injected real performance into the updated Q4 55 e-tron, which not only benefits from superior power delivery and improved ride comfort, but also an increased driving range. It also features an updated permanently synchronous electric motor on the rear axle for higher efficiency and greater power.

The new standard technology package includes Virtual Cockpit Plus, MMI Navigation Plus, Traffic Sign Recognition, and Audi Connect. Virtual Cockpit features features a fully digital 10.25-inc instrument cluster, offering customizable readouts for speed, charge level, and navigation, along with other vehicle and function information.

My tester included Prestige ($6,600), and Sport ($1,800) packages that slather on more technology. Prestige highlights include dual-pane acoustic glass, SONOS premium sound system, wireless phone charging pad, LED interior lighting, and power front seats with lumbar support. Sport adds 21-inch spoke design wheels with platinum finish, front sport seats, sport suspension, flattened top and bottom steering wheel, and stainless steel pedal caps.

Audi Q4 55 e-tron offers Drive Select with customizable modes, including Comfort, Auto, Dynamic, Efficiency, and a new Range mode, along with the ability to select different levels of regenerative braking.

For those looking for equal parts luxury to accompany their all-electric experience, it’s hard to do better than Audi. Where to start.

Heated and leather seating surfaces are a nice touch, as are a panoramic moonroof, power tailgate, adaptive cruise assist with lane guidance, three-zone automatic climate control, heated steering wheel, 40/20/40 split-folding rear setback, aluminum roof rails, and more.

In keeping with the Audi brand’s DNA, the new tuning for the suspension improves the balance for even greater comfort, dynamic driving, and stability. The steering characteristics and suspension tuning have been specially adapted for the occasion – the result is harmonious damping, improved steering response, and tighter load control.

I’m here to tell you putting miles on a test drive was never easier behind the wheel of the Q4 55 e-tron. It glides down the highway, with quattro inspiring confidence on rain-sickened roads, and even when standing water pools.
