Crash claims life of 26-year-old driver near I-15, Neon Gateway

A crash early Saturday, April 5 morning has claimed the life of a 26-year-old Las Vegas man according to The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol.

NSP responded to the crash at approximately 4:20 a.m. on April 5, 2025, near the IR15 northbound to Neon Gateway off-ramp.

According to the preliminary investigation, a black 2023 Chrysler 300 sedan, driven by Adam Wesley Armstrong, was traveling northbound when it veered out of its lane and struck a concrete barrier.

Officials say, the vehicle then crossed into the intersection of northbound IR15 and Neon Gateway, hitting a curb and a flexible delineator post before continuing into the westbound travel lanes of Neon Gateway.

The Chrysler ultimately collided with another concrete barrier, coming to rest on top of it.

Armstrong was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead on April 9, 2025.

The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol's Traffic Homicide Unit is conducting the investigation.

This incident marks the 17th fatal crash investigated by the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol Southern Command this year, resulting in 17 fatalities.
